Abstract

Based on Hakka culture, the design of comb and mirror gifts is studied in this paper. Through the utilization of knowledge from materials science and design psychology, and by using the method that combines theory with practice, Hakka culture can be understood from various perspectives, and the available Hakka characteristic elements can be excavated and refined. As a result, a set of comb and mirror gifts infused with Hakka culture is designed. By imparting the characteristics of Hakka culture to bamboo combs and mirrors, consumers' impression of Hakka culture can be deepened, and the spread and promotion of Hakka culture can be facilitated to some extent.
