To analyze the research hotspots and development trends of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) among nurses at home and abroad, through CNKI and Web of Science (SCI) as the search source, and CiteSpace 5.8.R3 software was used to search and analyze the relevant literatures on deep vein thrombosis nursing at home and abroad and from the establishment of the database to December 31, 2022. The included literature was published volume, author, country/institution, high-frequency keywords, keyword clustering, keyword emergence, and the research hotspots and introduction in this field were analyzed.A total of 675 Chinese articles and 506 English articles were included. The number of DVT papers published in the nursing field showed an overall upward trend. Research hotspots mainly focused on DVT prevention, complications, nursing experience, nursing intervention, evidence-based nursing and other keywords. The research preface focuses on quality of care, evidence-based nursing, health education, risk factors, guidelines, etc. There are some differences in the research of DVT nursing at home and abroad. Through the research of research hotspots and research preface in the field of DVT nursing, it is helpful to carry out further exploration on the basis of existing research, and finally reduce the incidence of DVT and improve the prognosis of patients.
