Abstract

Angelica Sinensis (AS)as a Traditional Herbal Medicine has been widely used in clinical for thousands of years and is proved to be the most effective Chinese medicine. As a natural herb, AS has various pharmacological effects in relation to its chemical constituents. To provide a basis for further study of AS , this article summarize the research on Angelica sinensis in recent two years, including its chemical constituents , pharmacological effects and mechanisms of action. In addition, its comprehensive and specific therapeutic aspects, toxicity, and adverse effects warrant further investigation in the future.
