Abstract

Chronic heart failure (CHF) remains a serious clinical and public health problem today, and is the ultimate destination for all types of heart disease. The prevalence of CHF is high, the disease is severe, the prognosis is poor, and the morbidity and mortality rate is high. Patients with CHF often suffer from fluid retention, and diuretics play a key role in the treatment of CHF, but nearly 38% of patients develop diuretics resistance during the course of treatment. Diuretic resistance is gradually becoming a major problem in cardiovascular disease. Diuretic resistance is gradually becoming a thorny problem in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, so the effective treatment of diuretic resistance is a topic worthy of in-depth study. This article elaborates on the definition and mechanism of diuretic resistance, and discusses the understanding of Chinese medicine on this disease, in order to provide reference for the clinical treatment of chronic heart failure with diuretic resistance.
