As China's economy develops rapidly and places increasing emphasis on science and technology innovation policies, intellectual property protection plays a crucial role in the modern economy. Originating from innovation activities, intellectual property can significantly promote the upgrading of industrial structure and enhance economic competitiveness. Around the world, a series of policies and regulations on intellectual property protection have been introduced, establishing a solid foundation for promoting innovation and encouraging investment. This also provides sufficient basis for the protection and management of intellectual property rights. However, how to properly address the relationship between intellectual property protection and industrial structure upgrading is a topic of great concern. This paper will explore the development paths of intellectual property and industrial structure from this perspective.
