The influence of college students' self-consciousness on interpersonal communication

Abstract

Taking the influence of college students' self-consciousness on interpersonal communication as the research direction, the test object are 1022 undergraduate students, including international students studying in G City, China, using SCS and ICQ scale. The results show that self-consciousness has a significant positive correlation on interpersonal communication skills ability (β=.565,t=24.048), p=.000<.010).Among them, the self-consciousness of college students is significantly different in gender, discipline and academic level(p<.010);Interpersonal competence skills vary significantly in both discipline and academic level(p<.010); There is no significant difference in self-consciousness, and no significant difference in interpersonal communication skills.
