Abstract

In recent years, the linguistic landscape has become a research Hotspot in applied linguistics and sociolinguistics, attracting extensive attention from scholars. Through a systematic  literature review on domestic linguistic landscape research from 2013 to 2023 on the platform of China Knowledge Infrastructure, and applying CiteSpace to visualize and analyse the data from three aspects of research object, research content, and research methodology, it is found that the research on linguistic landscape in China as a whole has made great progress, but still faces many challenges in the research object, research theory, research application and research methods. In the future, the research of linguistic landscape should develop towards the trends of diversified research objects, localization of research theories, deepening and transformation of research, standardization of research process as well as cross-disciplinary cooperation.
