Abstract

With the acceleration of urbanization and the rapid increase of the number of cars, traffic congestion has become a serious problem faced by major cities around the world. The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology provides new solutions for intelligent traffic congestion management. This paper discusses the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in intelligent traffic congestion management, including its working principle, advantages over traditional methods, implementation strategies, and challenges that may be faced in practical applications.
