Abstract

With the rapid development of the Internet platform economy, the increasingly large scale of new employment pattern practitioners has impacted the traditional, employment population-based social insurance system. Based on institutional theory, this paper collects data through market research and empirically examines the impact of institutional pressures on the unemployment insurance scheme of new business enterprises using structural equation modelling. It is found that three aspects of institutional pressure, namely regulatory pressure, normative pressure and cognitive pressure, profoundly affect entrepreneurs' decision-making and have a significant positive impact on the unemployment insurance scheme of new business enterprises.
