Abstract

This paper systematically investigates the issues of inheritance and innovation in Chaozhou Opera music. By analyzing the historical development of Chaozhou Opera music, modern innovative practices, and the challenges and opportunities it faces, it explores how to effectively achieve the inheritance and innovation of Chaozhou Opera music in the context of globalization and digitization. The paper finds that while Chaozhou Opera music faces challenges such as the protection of traditional culture and the risk of cultural distortion, new paths for its future development can be opened through strategies such as technological integration, international exchanges, and innovative educational mechanisms. This study emphasizes the importance of policy support, the introduction of social capital, and the construction of cultural brands, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for the modernization transformation of Chaozhou Opera music and other traditional opera arts.
