This paper aims to explore the relationship between ritual communication and ethnic cultural values, and to analyze in depth the mechanisms through which ritual communication influences the formation, inheritance, and evolution of ethnic cultural values. Firstly, it elaborates on the connotation of ritual communication and its significant role in social and cultural life, emphasizing the dual function of ritual as a symbolic system and social practice. Secondly, it conducts a thorough analysis of the definition and characteristics of ethnic cultural values, elucidating their importance in maintaining ethnic identity, transmitting cultural traditions, and guiding behavioral norms. Subsequently, it discusses the correlation between ritual communication and ethnic cultural values from various disciplinary perspectives such as semiotics, sociology, and communication studies, highlighting the role of ritual as a carrier of cultural inheritance and identity expression, as well as its crucial role in the formation and evolution of ethnic cultural values. Through multiple case analyses and empirical studies, it validates the significant influence of ritual communication on shaping and transmitting ethnic cultural values, while also revealing the diversity and complexity of the relationship between ritual communication and ethnic cultural values under different socio-cultural backgrounds. Finally, the paper summarizes the main findings of the research, emphasizing the importance of strengthening theoretical research and practical exploration of the relationship between ritual communication and ethnic cultural values, and putting forward prospects and suggestions for future research.
