Memorial landscape is an important space carrier carrying collective memory, historical emotion and spiritual civilization. With the change of landscape memorial mode and space experience demand, its design pays more attention to experiential and narrative expression. Based on the theory of spatial narrative, this paper takes the memorial hall of the victims in Nanjing massacre by Japanese invaders as the research object, and uses the methods of literature research and case analysis to sort out the relationship between spatial narrative and memorial landscape. Through the analysis of the external landscape space of the memorial hall, it is found that the narrative expression of the memorial landscape space is composed of the commemorative theme, the visiting path, the spatial sequence and the symbol carrier, so that the disaster memory, the victims ' mourning, the victory commemoration and the peace vision are presented in the continuous space experience, and the commemorative emotional expression is strengthened. Based on this, the article further analyzes and sorts out the narrative design principles of memorial landscape space and finally summarizes the design strategies to provide reference for the historical memory transmission, place meaning expression and commemorative emotion construction of memorial landscape.
