Abstract

In the past 30 years, digital technology has gradually established a decisive position in world production with its advantages of high precision, high storage capacity, and high versatility. Meanwhile, it has also become a new driving force for industrial revitalization in the process of China's pursuit of power transformation and shared development. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces and cities from 2013 to 2021, this study uses the entropy method and AHP method to construct the index system of the development level of common prosperity and the level of digital technology. Moreover, through regression analysis, it studies the action mechanism of digital technology on the development of common prosperity. At the same time, the 31 provinces are divided into four typical development regions by systematic clustering method. It is found that digital technology has a significant promoting effect on the development of common prosperity, and the influence has obvious regional and dimensional heterogeneity. Finally, relevant suggestions are given for the development of four typical regions.
