Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology is an intelligent technology that can perform complex work tasks through an operator interface and financial automation robot is an important application of RPA technology in the field of financial management. The application of RPA technology in finance helps enterprises greatly reduce financial costs and improve financial efficiency, so that the financial function is facing transformation and upgrading, while bringing more opportunities and challenges to finance personnel. This paper analyses the characteristics and connotations of RPA technology and discusses how it can play a role in the field of corporate financial accounting and the challenges it faces nowadays, in order to bring some help to RPA-related research.
