Abstract

In the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, due to the sanctions adopted by Western countries led by the United States against Russia, coupled with the fragility of the European energy system, there are both long-term structural constraints on energy supply and the impact of short-term energy supply. coupled with the fragility of the European energy system, there are both long-term structural constraints on energy supply and the impact of short-term events such as geography and weather, Europe is experiencing a serious and sustained energy crisis. Despite the positive measures taken by European countries to overcome the crisis, the economic and social situation has not been favourable. On the basis of analyzing the reasons leading to the EU energy crisis, this paper innovatively puts forward further measures to be taken by the EU as well as the inspiration brought to China by this energy crisis.
