Abstract

China has always attached great importance to ASEAN's transportation cooperation. Transportation facilities are the bridge of trade between the two sides. However, due to the differences in system, economy, transportation conditions and development stages, the railway facilities in the region are relatively old and backward. It is urgent to build a dense railway network connecting the domestic and overseas with external forces. Based on the advantages of political relations, economic aspects, technological advantages, location advantages and risk aversion, China can apply new transportation technologies and promote the economic development of the ASEAN region. Based on this analysis, the article suggests that the government should strengthen the construction of logistics facilities, optimize the business environment, and improve the efficiency of new land-sea routes.
