Abstract

Osteoporosis (OP) is a bone disease that seriously affects the health of the elderly. Due to the lack of awareness and prevention of OP in society, it is usually not discovered until fracture occurs. In recent years, the pathogenesis of OP has been gradually clarified. Many scholars have found that Chinese medicine has great potential in treating OP. Now, the treatment of OP with Chinese medicine has become a hot academic issue. This article mainly introduces several traditional Chinese medicines commonly used in the treatment of osteoporosis and their mechanism of action.
