As China's economy enters a new period of development and realizes rapid economic progress, Hainan Province, being a coastal province, aims to achieve comprehensive development of the tourism economy on the basis of national preferential policies to establish a free trade port. Domestic coastal provinces have a short understanding of the concept of free trade zone, which leads to the low number of researchers carrying out free trade post research and limited results. This paper expounds the new requirements of free trade port construction for the development of tourism in Hainan, and puts forward the strategy of tourism agglomeration in Hainan.
