As an important platform for the dissemination of human knowledge and ideas, library has always been the focus of national and social attention, and also an important part of the development of science and technology in China.5G technology has the advantages of low latency, high reliability and super high speed, which brings a new experience to the library information service. This paper starts with the construction principle of 5G technology application in smart library, discusses the main 5G technology applied in the construction of smart library, and puts forward the application strategy of 5G technology in the construction of smart library, in order to provide reference for the application of 5G technology in the construction of smart library.
