With the advent of the digital era, and the Widespread Application of Blockchain Technology in the Financial Industry, financial data has become a crucial asset. However, financial data security and privacy have consistently been a societal concern. The emergence of blockchain technology provides a new solution for the security and privacy of financial data. This article starts by examining the role of blockchain technology in ensuring the security and privacy of financial data. It then explores the legal issues associated with financial data security and privacy protection under blockchain technology, offering corresponding recommendations.
