Environmental problems have attracted more and more international attention, and the governance of the environment has become more and more important. The international community has put forward the principle of precautionary approach to environmental problems, which is a breakthrough in the traditional way of environmental governance. The article will start from the basic theory of risk prevention principle in international environmental law, first understand its basic meaning, then focus on how the principle is embodied in international environmental law, study the core elements of the principle, and finally explore the possibility of the application of the principle in the field of environmental protection in our country, and devote ourselves to deal with environmental problems.
