Abstract

The development of digital financial inclusion is an important measure to implement the rural revitalization. Based on the provincial panel data from 2011-2020, and on the basis of constructing the rural revitalization measurement system, this paper uses the entropy weight TOPSIS method to measure the development process of rural revitalization in each province, and empirically explores the relationship between digital financial inclusion and rural revitalization. We conclude that digital financial inclusion can significantly promote rural revitalization, and the positive effect is also significant in the three sub-dimensions (coverage breadth, depth of use, and degree of digital service support). Further, the robustness test results also confirm the reliability of the above conclusions. Therefore, at the current stage, we should vigorously promote the construction of digital financial inclusion to provide policy and tool support for the realization of rural revitalization.
