Measuring Smartphone Competitiveness: The Case of Huawei Mate 40 and Apple iPhone 12

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of the Sino-US trade war on Smartphone Competitiveness and proposes a comprehensive Smartphone Competitiveness Assessment Model to evaluate product competitiveness which integrates supply chain competitiveness, market competitiveness and ecological competitiveness. 33 indicators were conducted in empirical analysis to compare Mate 40 and iPhone 12 under different trade scenarios.
