This study is based on the attitude system in J.R.Martin's appraisal theory, takes the English version of the Global Security Initiative concept paper as the research corpus, builds a small corpus by myself, and adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to explore the distribution of attitude resources in the global Security Initiative paper and the national image constructed. This research shows that the paper uses a large number of positive words, thus building the image of a responsible country willing to contribute China's wisdom and strength in solving global security issues.
