Abstract

In order to test the proposed hypotheses, the current study builds technical autonomy, measures knowledge recombination based on IPC classification numbers, selects patent data of listed companies in the Chinese automotive industry from 2010 to 2022, and finally suggests the main research conclusions. The relationship between knowledge recombination and technical autonomy is influenced by supply chain position, with the downstream of the supply chain having a positive moderating function and the upstream of the supply chain having a negative moderating impact, as the article found. Recombination of enterprise knowledge significantly improves technical autonomy. Recombining corporate knowledge can increase an organization's technical , enabling it to respond more effectively to technical and market developments and boost its competitiveness. These findings provide important theoretical and practical recommendations on how organizations might strengthen technological autonomy through knowledge restructuring to establish sustainable competitiveness in the context of the Internet and rapid economic development.
