This paper deeply studies the legal issues of network privacy right and personal information protection in the digital era. First, the challenges of the dissemination and storage of personal information in the network are analyzed, emphasizing the urgency of legal protection. Subsequently, the paper discusses the definition and practical effect of existing laws, and finds that there are deficiencies in dealing with the cross-use of third-party data and the privacy of new technology. In order to further improve the legal protection mechanism, the paper compares the legal framework of network privacy protection at home and abroad, and summarizes the experiences and lessons of different countries.
