Abstract

This paper deeply studies the legal issues of network privacy right and personal information protection in the digital era. First, the challenges of the dissemination and storage of personal information in the network are analyzed, emphasizing the urgency of legal protection. Subsequently, the paper discusses the definition and practical effect of existing laws, and finds that there are deficiencies in dealing with the cross-use of third-party data and the privacy of new technology. In order to further improve the legal protection mechanism, the paper compares the legal framework of network privacy protection at home and abroad, and summarizes the experiences and lessons of different countries. Finally, it looks forward to the future development trend of network privacy and personal information protection laws, emphasizing that we should keep pay attention to emerging technologies and constantly improve the legal system to meet the new requirements of digital society.
