Abstract

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries are common but serious sports injuries that significantly impact the careers of basketball players. This paper explores the primary causes of ACL injuries in basketball players and the strategies for their prevention. By analyzing the physiological background, technical factors, and biological factors involved, the paper reveals the mechanisms that make basketball players more susceptible to ACL injuries. Furthermore, it discusses how proper exercise training, functional training, and preventive support measures can reduce the risk of ACL injuries. Finally, the importance of continuous monitoring and adjustment of training plans, as well as the potential for future research, is emphasized.
