Abstract

With the rapid development of economy and technology, people’s demand for high-quality fresh agricultural products (FAP) is rapidly growing in China. However, in comparison to developed countries, China's overall fresh agricultural products supply chain (FAP-SC) is still incomplete, and the cold chain logistics infrastructure is insufficient. This inadequacy not only contributes to increased logistics expenses but also leads to a lower level of customer service and substantial financial losses. The paper examines the factors that impede the growth of the FAP-SC in China and proposes effective strategies.
