Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of the Internet, the rural Internet penetration rate has been increasing year by year. The Internet has greatly enriched the daily life of rural people, but it also inevitably brings the problem of Internet addiction, which is especially obvious among rural junior high school students. Although the state attaches great importance to the prevention of Internet addiction among rural minors, there are still many problems that need to be solved in reality. Therefore, it is undoubtedly valuable to deeply analyse the causes of Internet addiction among rural junior high school students and propose targeted intervention strategies accordingly.
