Police Responsibilities and Legal Challenges under Personal Safety Protection Orders

Abstract

With the implementation of the Anti-Domestic Violence Law, issues concerning the responsibilities and challenges faced by the police in the execution of personal safety protection orders have sparked a series of discussions in academia. This paper first combines the basic concepts of personal safety protection orders to further elaborate on the primary responsibilities of the police in the execution process. Based on the legal challenges present in the current execution of personal safety protection orders, corresponding solutions are proposed.
