The study explores "network secondary political opinion" within the self-media environment, where fragmented perceptions create a "seemingly but not" state. Self-media influences public sentiment through "opinion leaders" and echo chambers, leading to polarization. The "Hu Xinyu incident" illustrates how self-media intensified negative opinions, eroding trust in official sources and diminishing traditional media’s authority. These dynamics foster political apathy and skepticism, highlighting the need for improved media literacy to promote informed public discourse.
