Abstract

This study explores the discrimination faced by Asian American women in the workplace. By analyzing historical and cultural factors, social prejudices, and organizational structures, the study reveals the multi-faceted roots of discrimination. The study found that Asian American women often encounter problems such as limited promotion opportunities, unequal salaries, stereotypes, and micro-discrimination, which seriously affect their career development, mental health, and job satisfaction. In response to these challenges, the study proposed coping strategies at the individual, organizational, and societal levels. The results of the study emphasize the complexity and necessity of solving this problem, and point out that multi-party collaboration is needed to create a more fair and inclusive workplace environment. This study provides a theoretical basis and practical suggestions for understanding and improving the workplace situation of Asian American women.
