Tai’an city has a superior natural ecological environment, rich resources of Chinese herbal medicines, and a profound culture of Chinese medicine, which has the advantageous conditions for the development of the Chinese medicine industry, but there are still many problems restricting the development of the Chinese medicine industry in the planting, processing and production of Chinese herbal medicines, which affects the high-quality development of the Chinese medicine industry in Tai’an city. To this end, we should optimize the layout of the industrial structure, improve the processing technology and scientific and technological innovation, promote the integrated development of Chinese medicine and health industry, and plan for the upgrading of research and development of Chinese medicine in order to achieve the high-quality development of the Chinese medicine industry in Tai’an City.
