Tic disorder represents a prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder, yet conventional pharmacotherapy frequently causes notable adverse effects. Anti‑inflammatory diets show therapeutic promise for neuropsychiatric conditions through modulating gut microbiota and relieving neuro inflammation and oxidative stress. This paper reviews mechanisms and evidence of Mediterranean, ketogenic and elimination diets in tic disorders and comorbid ADHD, aiming to offer references for clinical practice.
