Urbanization construction is a game between reinforced concrete and the old quarter. The protection of ancient buildings in urban construction has always been the major concern of the architectural design industry and urban planning. As one of the important roles in carriers of Chinese spiritual civilization, ancient architecture plays a very important role in the development of our country with rich cultural values. However, due to the lack of space for urban development, which affects the protection of ancient buildings to a large extent. This article will explore the strategies for the development of modern urban construction and the protection of the ancient building, and discuss the protection of ancient buildings in urban design.
