Abstract

In this paper, we calculated and analyzed the stress distribution, and static performance of three W-beam guardrail under impact using the finite element analysis method with CATIA as the modeling software, ANSA Beta CAE as the meshing software, ANSYS as the analysis platform. This study can provide an important reference for the design and development of the W-beam guardrail.
