In recent years, colleges and universities all over China have set up social science association, which has become an important form of organization in colleges and universities. On the basis of combing the development history and current situation of all kinds of social science associations in China, especially in colleges and universities, and combined with the existing exploration of the function orientation of the social science associations in colleges and universities, this paper summarizes the basic function orientation and management organization form of the social science associations in colleges and universities in the new era. Finally, taking N University as a case, it puts forward the development strategy of "borrow, dislocation and substitution".
