Abstract

English linguistics has always been a research topic for English educators, which needs to be studied from different perspectives. With the development of the times, English, as an important tool in global communication, has been contacted and understood by more people, and English linguistics has become one of the basic compulsory courses for many English majors. It is necessary, reasonable and feasible to put forward the multi-dimensional perspective of English linguistics research. The research on English linguistics should pay more attention to the depth and the breadth of connection with other subjects. Research should closely follow the current trend of subject development and open up the research perspective of English linguistics. In recent years, my country's research on English linguistics has gradually deepened, and more and more attention has been paid to the cultivation of English majors. This article briefly introduces the relevant background knowledge of the corpus, and discusses the definition and classification of the corpus. Then it analyzes some changes in English linguistics under the background of corpus, and discusses the importance of corpus to language learning.
