Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a respiratory disease with increasing morbidity and mortality. Pulmonary hypertension is a common complication of COPD. The endoplasmic reticulum protein folding balance plays an important role in maintaining cell function, and multiple stimuli can destroy the endoplasmic reticulum protein folding balance and induce endoplasmic reticulum stress. Endoplasmic reticulum stress is closely related to the occurrence and development of pulmonary hypertension. This paper mainly describes the changes of endoplasmic reticulum stress related biomarkers in COPD complicated with pulmonary hypertension, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the search of biomarker system for early diagnosis of COPD complicated with pulmonary hypertension, and facilitate the development of precision therapy drugs in the future.
