During the period of the Republic of China, in the face of the epidemic and spread of infectious diseases in the process of urban modernization, under the strong appeal of the medical community, the government authorities began to follow the West and think about the construction of public health and epidemic prevention laws and regulations system under the new political system. In view of the corresponding measures taken by the government after the outbreak of infectious diseases in the Republic of China, this paper combs the legislative measures of public health in the Republic of China, and analyzes the implementation of public health legislation in practice, in order to provide a reference for the legal construction of public health system in China in the new era.
