Abstract

In recent years, China's economic development has entered a "new normal". Instead of pursuing GDP growth, maximizing economic scale, and pursuing aggregate economic growth, we have shifted to pursuing stable growth of economic structure, sustainable development under symmetric economic structure, and high-quality economic development. In view of this, this paper selects panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2019, and finds the connection between the two indicators through coupled coordination degree model and panel vector autoregressive model (PVAR), and analyzes each province accordingly. The results show that: there are obvious synergistic effects between digital economy and high-quality economic development; China's overall digital economy has continued to develop in this decade, but the development in the east and west remains unbalanced; digital economy and high-quality economic development are integrated with each other and promote each other. Therefore, the digital economy is one of the new driving forces for China's high-quality economic development and economic structure transformation.
