Abstract

The transition of retired athletes to become sports commentators has become a common phenomenon in China's sports industry. This paper will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of athletes' transition to become sports commentators by citing successful cases of transition, and analyze the opportunities brought by new media technology and the development of event broadcasting technology for athletes' transition, in order to provide reference for more retired athletes' career choices after retirement.
