Exercise mobile health application (mhAPP) is the integration hub of exercise and medical care, and a new health management tool. It can monitor the key physiological health indicators of the human body in exercise/quiet state, provide fitness courses, fitness/diet planning, and latest fitness consultation, etc., and has great potential value for the promotion of "Healthy China". In order to examine the current status of mhAPP services and the possible future application of mhAPP in big health services, this study investigated the acceptance, usage rate, brand selection and quality evaluation of mhAPP among Chinese urban residents, and the views of industry experts (doctors, fitness trainers, insurance managers and mhAPP developers) on the participation of mhAPP in industry services, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for mhAPP-mediated big health services in China.
