Abstract

Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is a digestive system disease with a high prevalence and a high cancer rate developed by a combination of factors. Its pathogenesis is complex. There is currently no exact name of the disease in traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine also lacks excellent treatments. Therefore, it is very important to explore the etiology and pathogenesis of CAG, understand its prognosis and prognosis, and prevent cancer. Based on ancient books and classics and researches on CAG in recent years, this paper summarizes the pathogenesis of this disease as "deficiency", "stagnation" and " blood stasis", in order to provide a theoretical basis for the comprehensive clinical treatment of CAG.
