Abstract

Lumbar disc herniation is a common bone disease in clinical practice. At present, there are various treatment methods of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for the disease, such as physical rehabilitation, pain management, and surgical intervention, among which the use of traditional Chinese medicine conservative treatment of lumbar disc herniation can significantly relieve pain and have a significant effect. This article reviews the relevant literature in recent years from the perspective of the internal treatment of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture and external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, to provide a reference for clinical research and treatment of the disease.
