In recent years, with the development of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster, the regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta has become the focus of scholars' research. Through theoretical exploration, this study compares the current economic development level of different cities and finds that each city has certain deficiencies in urban planning, industrial structure, etc., which leads to the separation of blocks and local protectionism. Therefore, this paper proposes countermeasures for the above problems from the perspective of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster planning.
