English as a language has an important position in university education, and English listening is an essential part of listening, speaking, reading and writing, which is very much valued by students. As a second language, English is a difficult language for many English majors to learn, and the listening skills are not sufficiently trained and difficult to improve. By elaborating Krashen's "input hypothesis", the author proposes a more appropriate listening acquisition strategy for English majors' current listening situation.
