This paper aims to explore the development and application of loose-leaf teaching materials in higher vocational education. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of loose-leaf teaching materials, and puts forward a development method of loose-leaf teaching materials based on multimedia technology. By combining text, image, audio, video and other media forms, this method makes the content of teaching materials more vivid and improves students' learning interest and effect. At the same time, this paper also discusses the application practice of loose-leaf textbooks in higher vocational education, including teaching process and teaching effect. The research results show that loose-leaf textbooks have broad application prospects and important teaching significance in higher vocational education.
