With the popularity of the Internet and mobile smart devices, online communication has become increasingly common among college students. However, online communication also brings some negative influences, such as information overload, false information, and cyberbullying. Therefore, ideological and political education for college students needs to strengthen the perspective of online communication, guiding them to use online communication tools correctly, avoid negative influences, and improve their online communication literacy and civility.
