This paper explores the practical application of new media technology in higher education drama performance teaching. By analyzing the potential advantages of new media technology in drama education and how it changes students' learning experiences and performance abilities, we demonstrate how to integrate new media into higher education drama courses, enhance teaching quality, and stimulate students' creativity. Through case studies and sharing of practical experiences, this paper provides valuable insights for practitioners in the field of higher education drama education.
